Why do we use aluminum dihydrogen phosphate as binder when producing corundum bricks?

Unfired brick is also called chemical bonded brick. It refers to the refractory material which can be directly built without firing. Its production process is relatively simple. At a very early time, people used sodium silicate and other binders to fuse or sinter corundum as aggregates and powders, and then machine-pressed it with wet-rolled and mixed mud, and then dried it to obtain non-fired corundum products.
